Your role and responsibilities
Understand the Business drivers, the current and long-term strategy and identify opportunities for HR to add value to the businessSet and implement HR priorities in the organization in line with group/ global division / global BU / global function and people strategy, covering culture, people, and organization utilizing the existing HR solution portfolio or ensuring to provide new solutions where appropriateRepresent HR in the business entity, establishing strong relationships with business leaders and acting as consultant, sparring partner and coachAccountable for the total HR offering to the business and articulating the needs of the business to the CoEs and Global Business Services (GBS) to ensure relevant, impactful support for the businessEnsure people and organizational capabilities required in the mid-long term are understood and actioned. Ensure that the business positions in the short term are adequately staffed to meet or exceed the annual business targetsInterrogate HR Analytics data to understand key organizational dynamics, trends and issues and define and execute appropriate actionsImplement the operating model and optimize organization structures and principles in line with group and global rules and standards, including the ABB Job StructureDevelop high performing teams, including organization restructuring, optimal utilization, redeployment and right-sizing of people resources
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Business, Human resource management, Industrial psychology, or related discipline
- 10+ years' of progressive experience in human resources
- 5+ years of Senior HR Management experience in large manufacturing environment to include employee relations, organizational development, assessment and selection, compensation planning and performance management
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of CH employment law and compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and proven ability to influence and work effectively across all levels in a highly matrixed environment
- Demonstrated strategic thinking capability, strong business acumen and demonstrated ability to get results
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and ability to work with ambiguity and demonstrate agility with change
- Fluency in Italian (mother tongue preferred), alongside proficiency in English and/or German
