Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create the design of equipment, systems, or installations or modifies the pre-engineered designs for assignments by applying standard design concepts. Each day, you will assist in designing engineering solutions, including drawings and calculations according to specification. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in design reviews and design verification and modifying the design, as necessary.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Supporting the preparation of specific aspects of design assignments to meet the contractual obligations, adhering to safety, cybersecurity, and quality requirements.

• Ensuring that Bill of Materials for the project meets contractual obligations.

• Assisting technical risk assessments and implements the resulting actions in their projects.

• Participating in workshops pertaining to engineering design, tools, and processes.

Qualifications for the role

• You have successfully completed an apprenticeship in mechanical design or a related field

• You are motivated to start your professional career and further develop your skills

• You enjoy working with technical drawings and CAD tools

• You have a basic understanding of mechanical engineering principles

• You are a team player with a structured and reliable way of working

• You are at ease communicating in German and English
