Senior Security and System Engineer
What you achieve
In a continuous improvement process, you define and implement changes for maximum customer satisfaction. You know how to resolve complex issues quickly because you are able to identify the causes. In addition, you create guidelines for upgrades, security patches, and MACs. You also test these and maintain the existing system documentation. Furthermore, you define architectures for platform projects that are technically and economically feasible. You also oversee systems and data with a high-security classification.
Why you succeed
- Degree (Uni/UAS/technical college) in computer science or several years of experience with Unix/Linux
- Experienced in distribution, automation, and configuration management in larger environments (> 400 servers and 500 devices in the network)
- Know-how in security services in the regulatory environment, IT security, as well as architecture and network technologies
- Good knowledge of script programming (Bash, Perl or Python)
- Proficient handling of standard applications (e.g. Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, LDAP)
- Knowledge of load balancers, proxies, and other access control devices, and of digital signature, PKI, HSM is a plus
- Ready to provide regular on-call service for 3rd level support
- Adaptive, responsible, and committed personality
- Fluency in written and spoken English and German
