With the ever-increasing focus on global compliance by tax authorities, the timely management and compliant delivery of compensation for globally mobile employees is here to stay; this is your opportunity to help innovate, shape and deliver the future of our GCM (Global Compensation Management) services.The Global Employer Services (GES) team, as part of the Deloitte Tax & Legal department, provides multi-national companies with targeted advice and strategies for running Global Mobility programs in an efficient manner with respect to tax and social security costs and supports clients with the end-to-end management of global compensation for internationally mobile employees. The team also ensures that clients are able to manage their global payroll and taxation requirements whilst paying employees accurately and on time. As an (Assistant) Manager on the Global Workforce team, you will support our clients with the end-to-end management and delivery of GCM services. Furthermore you will lead the monthly delivery of expatriate payroll instructions (actual and shadow) and provide support in relation to delivery by local payroll teams. You will work across all aspects of global engagements, building close relationships with Deloitte teams around the world. You will advise clients on compensation collation services on a monthly/quarterly basis and will be responsible for consulting projects in relation to all aspects of global mobility compensation, including process improvements, process mapping, training and delivery. You will be responsible for the delivery of technology and process implementation and project management to support the set-up of the services.

What you can expect from your role
You will provide a high quality service to our multi-national clients in Global Mobility. You will manage a team involved in the following tasks:• Management of all parts of the GCM process which may include payroll instructions, statutory withholding calculations, the funding process and the delivery of payments to assignees and the local authorities • Reviewing client payroll instructions from our technology database • Management of the end to end process from the client’s Global Mobility team to the local payroll teams• Development of knowledge and adherence to our best practice service delivery models• Responsibility for communications with our client service delivery teams located in the engagement office, nearshore and offshore• Undertaking of engagement financials (planning, billing, cash collection, etc.)• Building and developing long term relationships with senior stakeholders, clients and teams• To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear understanding of the firm’s commitment to creating a more inclusive culture
Your qualifications• You have minimum 3-7 years of professional experience within the practice or a large in-house team providing compensation services to international clients and /or expatriates• Excellent project management, client service delivery skills and experience in managing staff• Experience of expatriate compensation implementation and service delivery• Experience of working with technology platforms to manage the delivery of global compensation• Knowledge of compensation technology platforms, including the Equus AssignmentPro Platform and understand of excel macros and VBA coding, is an advantage. • You work independently, take the initiative and have a good network in the Swiss market in order to build customer relationships• You have excellent technical as well as analytical skills and are a reliable team player. • You communicate confidently in English. Any further languages may be an advantage.
