What you achieve
Together with your team, you strive to break new grounds and always stay on the cutting edge with our next-generation managed services. You design, develop and improve configuration management and tools for cloud infrastructure services. In addition, you create and implement automation in the form of infrastructure as code. Applying new processes and technologies, you automate infrastructure operations using DevOps tools and practices. You develop CI/CD processes and automate manual steps in software delivery and infrastructure operations, and you containerize applications. By participating in deep architectural discussions, you ensure solutions are designed to achieve successful deployment, security, cost-effectiveness and high availability in the cloud. You take part in on-call rotation and help us improve the overall health of multiple customer public cloud environments and achieve operational excellence.
Why you succeed
- Strong automation skills and experience with cloud automation tools (e.g. Terraform, Azure DevOps, CloudFormation)
- Knowledge of one or multiple programming and -scripting languages (e.g. Powershell, Bash, Java, C#, Python)
- Experienced with configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Familiar with continuous integration, testing, and deployment as well as hyperscaler cloud environments and services (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Know-how in Linux and/or Windows system administration
- Hands-on experience with container technologies (Kubernetes/Openshift Docker) as well as Elasticsearch and /or Sensu Go is a plus
- Experience working with enterprise customers and operations
- Team-oriented and flexible personality, able to deal with the unknown, ready to constantly evolve
- Willing to work in an agile environment and to be on-call – you build it, you run it
- Fluency in written and spoken English, German or French a plus
