Country HR Manager Switzerland

ABOUT YOU
You are entrepreneurial and at the same time have experience with and deep understanding of organizational build-up and structure. You are an experienced HR and Competence professional. You are a strategic thinker with knowledge of Swiss employment regulations. You also have the ability to work on a high level of collaboration and have excellent communication skills.

YOUR ASSIGNMENT
Your tasks will include:
 

• Lead the country Human Resources team and inspire the HR Manager matrix in the IKEA business units by providing support with the necessary methods and functional competence
• Ensure the people strategy and global principles/guidelines are implemented and lived up to
• Influence management team members to continuously develop leadership capabilities within their function according to business needs
• Be an active member of the Country Management Group and share the responsibility for securing growth and sustained profitability in the market
• Participate actively in creating the country business plan and converting it into clear actions and goals to ensure the people agenda contributes to maximizing growth
• Contribute to the development of the IKEA business and personal competence by taking part in global assignments
• Lead and drive the HR agenda ensuring innovative and inspiring solutions to function challenges
• Together with the business leaders, secure an up-to-date succession process and plan by influencing the managers in taking the lead with special focus on talents and high performing potentials
• Being a good example of IKEA leadership in ways that express the IKEA values within and outside IKEA, and help to safeguard and promote the IKEA culture.

 
YOUR PROFILE
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
 

• You have several years of professional experience within HR in a leading function
• You possess the ability to identify need for and drive change within the organization on country level
• You show strong communicative skills and high energy in motivating and inspiring people
• You have a deep understanding and honest belief in the values of the IKEA culture
• You are able to work on strategic, tactical and operational levels
• You possess the drive and determination to reach goals and you are able to work in a proactive way
• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to coach people
• You possess fluent reading and writing skills in English and German; French or Italian is a plus
• You are self-reliant and motivated with proven ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently
• You show high self-motivation and the willingness to develop
• You have a deep interest in people’s everyday Life at Home.
