We are looking for a product owner with expertise on leading and managing the backlog of software development team to join our world-leading R&D team working on medium-voltage wind converters. This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your responsibilities
 

• Taking ownership of requirements engineering to convert business requirements into software requirements
• Responsible for planning the product increments and providing feedback to the overall roadmap of the product
• Work with stakeholders and understand the priorities of the backlog and provide periodic updates on the progress
• Understand the needs of the project in terms of resources and competences
• Work with line management to ensure a proper staffing of the team
• Responsible for software testing strategy of the product to improve the test coverage of the product
• Ensure cyber security and quality requirements of the product are fulfilled
• Leading and guiding the team to achieve the targets

Your background
 

• University degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
• Having 5 to 8 years of experience in leading Embedded system software projects
• Experience in leading more than one scrum team as Product owner
• Experience in the programming language C++ is beneficial
• Prior experience in leading control software of power electronic converters is beneficial
• Good command of English, German language skills are beneficial
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal and analytical skills
