Your role and responsibilities
For our Swiss Traction Sales Team, we are looking for someone who thrives on customer relationships, can explain complex technical topics with ease and acts with foresight in challenging situations.

You will be responsible for sales activities for traction solutions in the railway industry and e-mobility in the Swiss market. You will represent the division's entire portfolio, including service and digital solutions.
The work model for this position is #LI- hybrid.
This role reports to the Head of Traction Sales Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for
- Independently lead the entire technical and commercial lifecycle of complex projects, from initial customer visits, solution design, and quotation to leading contract negotiations, conducting risk assessments, managing the sales handover, and taking full responsibility for forecasting and opportunity monitoring.
- Work closely with key decision-makers to actively shape the future development of our product portfolio, contributing directly to the growth of sustainable mobility in Switzerland and globally through strategic planning and customer engagement.
- Operate within an open and collaborative culture by working closely across departments like Product Management and Engineering, while serving as the key partner for operators, OEMs, and strategic accounts in Switzerland and neighboring countries.
- Drive the economic success of demanding sales projects through meticulous calculation and evaluation, lead opportunity and risk assessments, and provide crucial support in change and claim management processes to ensure project profitability and success.

Qualifications for the role
- Completed apprenticeship or university degree in a technical or commercial field
- Technical aptitude: experience in the railway sector or e-mobility is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills – German (or French) and English; any additional language is a plus
- Customer focus at the heart of all activities and excellent networking skills with internal and external stakeholders
