What you achieve
You ensure that Swisscom myCloud remains the leading Swiss online storage solution and continues to evolve. Within an interdisciplinary team, you are coding in a microservice architecture based on JAVA Spring Boot. You also implement and develop operational tools, concepts, and infrastructures (DevOps). As a coach, you share your knowledge with others and help find reliable solutions. Relying on user testing and MVPs, you and your team test features and incorporate feedback into further development. In addition, you focus on quality and maintainability through automated testing (including end-to-end testing) and continuous refactoring. Plus, you ensure that requirements are implemented in a sustainable, entrepreneurial manner, following best practices. For this purpose, you work according to SAFe in an interdisciplinary Scrum Team.
Why you succeed
- Degree (Uni/UAS) in computer science or equivalent
- Several years of experience in Java Backend with Application Stack Framework (JEE/Spring Boot) and JavaFX
- In-depth knowledge of OO design, REST and microservice architectures
- Extensive know-how in automated building, ideally knowledge of Maven and Gradle
- Knowledge in technologies for cloud Platform-as-a-Service, e.g. Cloud Foundry
- Ready to enter the agile mode of operation according to Scrum in a DevOps approach
- Able to integrate into an established team, to bring in fresh air, and to tackle challenges proactively
- Fluency in spoken and written English, German is a plus
