We are looking for candidates who can apply their academic background in power electronic control systems complemented by practical experience. Be part of a team that operates on a global scale. This position reports to
Service Team Leader
Your responsibilities
- Perform site maintenance, commissioning, troubleshooting worldwide of High Power Rectifiers systems in a range up to 100 kA/2000 V per system
- Support customers worldwide with remote troubleshooting and assistance
- Support service sales and spares parts team with new requests
- Back-office engineering of system concepts, electrical schematics, customer specific Software (PLC) and testing for tailored maid customer systems used in industrial applications
- Complying with quality standards and regulations
- Verifying technical solutions and addressing issues in close collaboration with customers and suppliers
- Conducting customer trainings at site or our premises
- Approximately 50% international travel with the remaining time allocated to back-office activities
Your background
- A degree in Electrical Engineering
- Sound knowledge in E-CAD and PLC programming
- High affinity with IT (HW, SW and protocols)
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills
- Fluency in English, German and any additional language is an asset
- Willingness to travel internationally
