In this role you will be responsible for the Service organization of the Automation Business unit (part of Process Automation Energy Industries PAEN) in Switzerland, ensuring Service excellence.You will be part of the local management team of the Automation unit and report directly to the local Business Manager.

Your responsibilities

  • Create and drive implementation of service strategy.
  • Lead the Service organization with a team of 6 employees.
  • Ensure that strategic plans are implemented consistently in the service organization through collaboration with other businesses.
  • Responsible for Service contracts, achieving the financial targets, and drive the service growth.
  • Responsible for the Technical Account Management TAM for key customers. Build sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction and retention of customers together with sales.
  • Coordination of the 24x7 Service team with resources provided across the organization. Owner of the technical case management.
  • Analyze, maintain, and leverage ABB's installed base for new opportunities. Manage the spare parts business.
  • Collaborate closely with Service Managers from other countries and with the Hub Central and Southern Europe CSE. Pivotal point within the organization.

Your background

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Energy Industries market, working as Service Manager, Technical Account Manager, Project Manager, or similar role with Digital Control Systems DCS, smart controllers and the latest technologies.
  • Sound technical knowledge in the field of Automation.
  • Good market understanding as well as comprehensive process and service know-how.
  • Experience and strength in people management as well as strategic planning skills and high implementation strength.
  • Excellent collaboration skills paired with analytical capabilities.
  • Fluent in English and German.
