What you achieve
You take on a hybrid systems and software engineering role, focusing on the availability, durability, latency, performance, and scalability of our services. In our agile release train, we develop, maintain, and operate data and network security services. In addition, you contribute to improving processes, automation, and tooling, so that systems can be operated smoothly with less human intervention. Together with the team, you solve new technological challenges. You meet with stakeholders and customers and explain technical concepts concisely and understandably.
Why you succeed
- Degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or similar field
- Troubleshooting skills across application, network, virtualization and hardware layers
- Familiarity with one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, Scala, Python, C/C++, C#/F# and JavaScript frameworks for frontend development such as Angular, React or Vue.js
- Working knowledge with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Know-how and experience in cloud and virtualization technologies such as container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes)
- Passionate about distributed systems with sound knowledge in security and network protocols
- Highly analytical, curious and conceptual personality, fast learner, entrepreneurial in thoughts and actions, enthusiastic and flexible self-starter
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Good English, German a plus
