What you achieve
Building one of the most complete cloud offerings in the market is a huge challenge. As a member of our DevOps team, you help us developing features, assuring their quality, pushing them to production and maintaining/troubleshooting the Cloud platform. You know the benefits of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) as well as Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) – therefore, you can make your own contribution. As a fast learner you can easily phase in, write efficient and reliable code in accordance with "best-practice" principles and assist other staff members with code reviews.
Why you succeed
- Degree (University/UAS/Technical College) in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Programming skills, OOP (Java, Python) and familiarity with a scripting language (Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell)
- Knowledge of current operating systems (Linux and Windows, including their default services)
- Understanding of software development processes and their maintenance (such as continuous integration, test automation)
- Strong communication skills, enthusiastic and motivated; fast learner and team player
- Experience with VMware products (vSphere, NSX, vRealize Suite) beneficial
- Willing to work in a DevOps environment with 24/7 On-call support
- Fluent in English, German beneficial
