What you achieve
As part of a 40-strong team, you play a key role in the software quality assurance process of our AI-based flagship products and services within the Data, Analytics and AI division at Swisscom. Products include innovative AI-based services how Swisscom is communicating with customers in the future, as well as AI- and Big Data-based solutions to analyze large scale mobility in Switzerland.
With your strong expertise in testing software (automated, exploratory, integration tests), you play a key role in the quality assurance testing aspects of the product development. Your responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You ensure that components of our systems meet the high quality standards of Swisscom and our customers, and you verify the smooth integration of them into the Swisscom landscape. You create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. You actively introduce and use best practices in software testing. You will execute tests and report glitches to your Software Engineering colleagues. Speaking of which: working in an interdisciplinary team according to Agile methodologies makes us thrive – and you too.
Why you succeed
- Master's degree (ETH/Uni/UAS) in Computer Science or similar technical field of study
- Profound experience in software quality assurance and a solid track record in software engineering (e.g. Java, Python)
- Strong Experience with REST API Testing and automated testing tools (e.g., TavernTesting, Pyresttest, Selenium, Postman)
- Hands-on experience with whitebox and blackbox testing, integration tests as well as test automation
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Comfortable working in agile teams with test-driven development and continuous integration
- Very good English, German at least on B2 level
